Is Post Formatter free?
Yes. The core formatting (bold, italic, bold italic, strikethrough, underline and case) is free forever with no sign-up. Post Formatter Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks AI proofreading, 20+ premium styles, post previews, Smart Paste and Drafts Pro.
What’s the difference between the plans?
There’s one Pro tier. Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime all unlock exactly the same features, and the only difference is how you pay: Monthly is the lowest commitment, Yearly is the best value (save ~52%), and Lifetime is a single payment that never renews. There’s also a $2 weekly pass to test-drive Pro.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Install the free extension, then upgrade from inside it whenever you hit a Pro feature. Upgrading uses Google sign-in and secure Stripe checkout.
What does the free tier include?
Unlimited bold, italic, bold italic, strikethrough and underline (plus UPPERCASE, lowercase and clear) on all 7 platforms, opening and editing your saved drafts, and a few free uses of each premium feature (20+ styles, AI, post previews, Smart Paste and saving drafts) so you can try them before deciding.
Do I need an account to use the free features?
No. The free formatting works with no sign-up. You only sign in (with Google) if you choose to upgrade to Pro.
Can I pay once instead of subscribing?
Yes. The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment with no recurring charges, and it includes future features.
