Pin Post Formatter to always have it at hand
Opens the side panel on this tab.
Click the Extensions icon
Click the pin next to "Post Formatter"
Done, it's pinned
Select text. Format instantly.
Highlight text on LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Threads, or any supported platform, the toolbar appears right above your selection.
- 1 Select any text in the composer
- 2 The toolbar appears right above it
- 3 One click applies the style
- 4 Or type markdown, it converts itself
Bold, italic, underline, strike
The basics, one click. Bold and italic carry a chevron for the sans or serif variant, and markdown converts as you type.
Fonts, lists, symbols, case
Script, monospace, double-struck and more, plus bullet styles, symbols and upper/lowercase.
Clear & AI
Strip every style off a selection in one click, or hand it to AI proofread without leaving the post.
Works everywhere you post
See the post before you publish it
Open LinkedIn's composer and you get a Preview button next to Post. It opens a panel that renders your draft exactly as the feed will, live, while you type.
- 1 Click Preview in the composer
- 2 The post lands cut at “…more”
- 3 Expand to read the whole post
- 4 Type, and the preview keeps up
- 5 Collapse, then check mobile
Find the "…more" cut
LinkedIn hides everything past ~210 characters on desktop and ~140 on mobile. The preview shows you exactly where it lands, so your hook survives the fold.
Desktop and mobile
One toggle switches the render between the desktop feed column and the mobile app, line breaks, truncation and all.
Live, not a screenshot
Every keystroke re-renders the post, with a running character count against LinkedIn's 3,000 limit.
Paste from anywhere, keep formatting
Copy from Google Docs, Word, Notion, or plain Markdown, Smart Paste auto-converts bold, italic, strikethrough, underline, and lists to Unicode. What you paste is what everyone sees.
- 1 Draft in Docs, Word or Notion
- 2 Copy the formatted passage
- 3 Paste into the composer
- 4 Bold, italic and lists survive
Auto-detects rich HTML & Markdown
Nothing to switch on per paste. The extension checks the clipboard and converts only when there is formatting worth keeping.
Google Docs, Word, Notion & Markdown
Bold, italic, strikethrough and underline all survive. Bullets become • and numbered items become 1. 2. 3., indented four spaces per level.
Unicode, works everywhere
The result is plain Unicode text, so it survives every network, app and phone. Toggle Smart Paste on or off in settings.
Three pickers, no tab-switching
☆ opens the symbol and emoji catalogue, ☰ turns selected lines into a bullet, numbered or star list, and T restyles your text in 20+ Unicode fonts. Every one previews the result before you click.
- 1 Select text to raise the toolbar
- 2 ☆ inserts symbols and emoji
- 3 ☰ turns the lines into a list
- 4 T restyles it in 20+ fonts
Symbols and emoji
Arrows, checkmarks, stars, box drawing and maths on one tab, the full emoji catalogue on the next, currencies on the third.
21 list styles
Bullet, numbered, check, dash, arrow, star and more. Select any run of lines and every one gets the marker.
20+ fonts, previewed live
Script, fraktur, monospace, double-struck, bubble and more. Each row shows your own selection in that style.
Fix the typos. Add the emphasis.
The robot button opens two tools. Proofread marks every mistake and shows you the fix before you take it. Auto-Style adds bold and italic to the phrases that matter.
You bring the API key
Create one at openrouter.ai/keys, paste it into the extension's AI settings, then hit Test connection. Your key stays on your machine and OpenRouter bills you directly. You can run the newest AI models the day they land there.
Most founders plan the launch, not the follow up.
Its always the same thing: boring consistency.
- 1 Select your draft, open AI
- 2 Proofread finds the mistakes
- 3 Take one fix, or all of them
- 4 Auto-Style adds the emphasis
See it before you take it
Click an underline and you get the old text, the new text, and why. Take one fix, or take them all.
It won't rewrite you
Auto-Style only adds bold and italic. It never changes a word you wrote.
Pick your model
A cheap fast model is plenty for everyday posts. Point it at a frontier model when the post matters.
Format without leaving the keyboard
All your favorite shortcuts work inside the floating toolbar and the popup editor.
On Windows & Linux, swap ⌘ for Ctrl.
